This Mother’s Day, Let's Protect our Protectors
Mother’s Day is a day for saying thank you. For celebrating the people who make impossible things look easy, who always show up, and who protect us just as fiercely as they love us. But in today’s climate, thank you doesn’t feel like enough.
This year, more women than ever are facing threats to their reproductive rights. Essential care is being politicized. Access is being stripped away. And too often, the very people who carry life are left to fend for themselves.
Rather than thank moms this Mother’s Day, let’s fight to protect them like they’ve always protected us. That’s why we created this proactive idea — not commissioned, but inspired — for an organization on the front lines of this fight: Planned Parenthood.
So we gave RYA a simple brief:
Get moms who know their reproductive rights are under attack
To support Planned Parenthood through donations and advocacy that push for year-round, equitable access to women's health services
By flipping the traditional Mother’s Day narrative away from “pampering” and towards protecting our protectors.
RYA’s answer? An idea that blends art, activism, and motherhood in a powerful new way — inspired by our proprietary audience insights:
Moms are 63% more likely to be passionate about tattoos than the general population.
Many marketers grapple with how to resonate with moms or any desired audience. Deciding which idea will resonate. Trying to understand why. Is it worth the budget? Will it actually work? That’s where RYA thrives.
We built RYA for marketers with no time to waste, looking to incorporate AI, and interested in taking creative risks with confidence. It’s not about being louder. It’s about being right. That’s the difference between a clever idea and one that actually moves the needle. The difference RYA was built to make.
