Turning Passions Into Action: RYA’s Voter Registration Ideas

Unregistered voters could have a huge impact on the upcoming election. And with the voter registration deadline approaching in some states (check yours here), we thought we’d #askRYA for creative ideas to encourage people to register.

After creating our target audience (unregistered voters), RYA shared their top passions:

  1. Tattoos - 55% more likely to be passionate about tattoos than the general population

  2. Pets

  3. Road trips

  4. Cooking/Baking/Grilling

  5. Comedy

  6. Street food / Food trucks

  7. Theme parks

  8. DIY

  9. Crafting

  10. Camping/Glamping - 11% more likely to be passionate about camping/glamping than the general population

With a list like that, it’s easy to get human-generated ideas flowing. Free comedy shows when you register to vote? Registration events while you’re in line at theme parks? A campground experience where registering to vote upgrades you from camping to glamping?

But audience data is just the beginning of RYA. Using AI trained by creatives, RYA can generate ideas, too.

Here are 3 of our favorites, with a little creative direction from us. (Even the best human creatives can still use a bit of help, too…)

If “Rock the Vote” could help register more 14+ million voters since 1990, why couldn’t these? Sign up for beta access and a demo here to learn more about how RYA can create insights and ideas for your next big movement.
