Not your average wine lover

Wine drinkers come with their fair share of stereotypes, which are often perpetuated by memes circulating on social media. The haggard mom drinking a big glass of “juice in her sippy cup” at the end of a long day with her little ones or the drink of choice for the rich and sophisticated. But who are they really? In honor of National Wine Day, we peeled back the layers to uncover the (unexpected) truth.

They don’t live in wine country. They’re actually more likely to live in the Southern states. Maybe there’s FOMO for people who live the furthest from wineries?

Hey, men like wine too! It’s actually a fairly even split among men and women at 53 vs 46% respectively.

More than mama’s juice cup. Wine loves are actually more likely to be just your average dinks (dual-income, no kids).

So what else are wine lovers more passionate about? We asked RYA and the results may surprise you.
