Ditch the ties, here is what Dad really wants for Father’s Day

If you want to impress dad this Father’s Day, you may want to consider NOT gifting the typical go-to gifts like socks, ties, or something golf related. Dad deserves something he really wants. So what’s on Dad’s list? We turned to RYA™ to see what fathers are more likely to be interested in than anyone else right now.

RYA™ has been collecting years worth of proprietary survey data – with 1,000 new responses a week - to answer one simple question. What do people like to spend their time and money on? The data collected can tell you what any audience, down to 1% of the U.S. population - is passionate about watching, seeing, eating, reading, listening to, experiencing or attending.

While Dads are more likely to be passionate about Fantasy Football, Stand-up Comedy, Games, and Road trips, RYA™ can also tell you what they are least likely to be passionate about.

If we compare and contrast Dads to the general population, here’s what they are least passionate about:

    • Beauty / Makeovers

    • Picnics

    • Fashion

    • Vegetarian / Vegan food

So we wouldn’t advise getting Dad anything fashion or beauty related and rather than a picnic, we’d suggest a Father’s Day BBQ with lots of meaty options.
